Hi, everyone! I’m in the last stages of getting my first self-pub through the door and trying to decide if I should  put Call Me Miz in the Kindle Unlimited program. Any author/reader input would be greatly appreciated. (Email me or just leave a comment.)

Meanwhile, another snippet today from, Missouri Hess, my biker masseuse with healing hands. I think this could be considered her first disagreement with Thomas.

from~Call Me Miz

He lied to her and all pleasure in the evening stopped; she burned from the inside out with unresolved lust, but it was time to go home.

Thomas moved and stood between Miz and the door.

“I hope you’re a martial artist or something, because a man should feel like he has a fightin’ chance when I kick his ass,” Miz drawled.

“Let’s keep it simple,” he answered, changing his stance just enough to block the exit even better. “Last one with a stitch on wins.”

Miz looked at his single article of clothing—shorts…

Cocky bastard thought he could strip boots, shorts, tank top, and a towel off her before she could jerk down his fancy boxers.

She relaxed, flexing her muscles, loosening the joints in elbows, hips, and knees and, for effect, even cracked her knuckles. “Let the games begin.”

Call Me Miz Synopsis:

Masseuse, hedgewitch, healer… Although Missouri Hess can take suffering away with her touch, and pull truth from a liar every time, she considers her strange talents a curse. Being a healer is a lonely existence when the people you help, shun your truth-telling side.  Nevertheless when misery calls, Miz is compelled to answer.

Thomas Hunter is a government agent and  a member of an elite Special Forces team—emphasizing the word special. In human form, Thomas is a mouth-watering hunk of rippling muscles. Since he’s in Bitter Creek Holler to meet the local werewolves, he’s spending most of his time prowling the woods as a jaguar, ready to greet shifters in parlay or meet the enemy with fang and claw.

But Thomas doesn’t know the area, or realize until too late, that he’s become prey. When Miz rescues his furry form from a conibear trap, the beast in him claims her as his own. It’s up to Thomas to work out the details and convince the bewitching healer she’s his mate.
