Happy Valentines Day, Everyone!
In honor of this holiday for lovers, I’m posting the beginning lines from a steamy scene in Miz Spelled. (Releasing 2/19/15).
“I’m hungry for you,” Thomas growled as he trailed kisses from her jaw to her throat, melting her bones and heating her core.
Miz heard truth in every groaned word, but that didn’t mean she’d forgive him.
“Shouldn’t a gone traipsing off to parts unknown then, Sunny.” But her traitorous will, tilted her head, giving him better access to the sensitive spot joining her shoulder and neck, and instead of the indifferent drawl she’d intended, her words became a needy moan.
She was reminded that her absentee lover was both man and jaguar when a razor-like claw sliced through her tanktop and sharp teeth pierced her skin.
Primal need flooded her body, but lust warred with anger and anger won.
Miz shrugged out of Thomas’s arms, her tattered bra and tank framing her heaving breasts as she snarled, “Gone six weeks, not a peep to be heard after the first five, and now you think to stroll back in. I don’t think so, boyo.”

Loved it! You can feel her struggling with temptation wanting nothing but to give in but knowing she shouldn’t.
She is tough if she can push him away after that! Great passion in this scene, both anger and lust. Hope he has a very good excuse.
LOL! Good for her…although as smokin’ as the scene started out, I’m not sure whether to root for her or groan that she didn’t just go with it. 🙂
