Sizzling Summer Nights with Gem

Hey all, *waving*. I’m  excited to be in this hop with so many other great authors. For friends who stop by this weekend to say hello, nice seeing you again, I hope your summer is going well.  For those who’ve landed here and aren’t familiar with my work, let me introduce myself.

I’m Gem Sivad. Though I enjoy writing all genres, at the moment I’m engaged in two steamy historical romance series (Eclipse Heat @ Ellora’s Cave and Unlikely Gentlemen @ Dark Mountain Books). My most recent title released, Cerise Amour, Unlikely Gentlemen 2.5, published yesterday. Today I’m sharing an excerpt from it, featuring  Jeb and Cherry and their sizzling summer night, circa Civil War, June 26,1863.

I’m giving away a $10 GC on the main hop page and the winner will be chosen by JustRomance.me. I have a question for my visitors to answer to go in a drawing for my new Unlikely Gentlemen title, Cerise Amour.

Question: What is your favorite romance genre and what was the last title in that genre you read?

I’ll let random.org choose that winner. Don’t forget to visit the other author sites and enter the drawing for a 16 GB Kindle Fire.

Good Luck!

Thanks for stopping by,

Hi everyone. I’m sharing a final pre-publication snippet from Cat Nip today. The total story will be released and available at the distros August 14th.  Thank you all for your wonderful comments and support.

Horse and Carriage

“No questions about me, about my other self?” Hunter asked, wondering why she wasn’t curious about the jaguar.

“You met Huza,” Maggie answered, giving him a flat stare. “Obviously you’re only one of my many odd friends and strange acquaintances.” And then she seemed to think over what she’d said and added, “There’s only one like you, right?”

He shook his head.

“The men at the camp last night—the man I healed?”

“Yep,” he said gruffly.

“All of them are cats like you?”

“Not exactly,” he told her. “But we’re all beasts burdened with men.”
